Proven reoffending statistics

Official statistics on proven reoffending as produced by the Ministry of Justice, collected in a single table for ease of reference.

Format

A data frame of 3731 observations and 6 variables:

year_ending: The period for the number of reoffences. Although the dates refer to the 1st of the month in reality we always go to the end of the same month.
index_offence_group: The PRC offence category for the offence which entered the offender into the cohort.
number_offenders: The number of offenders in the cohort.
age: The age group (juvenile / adult) of the offenders.
reoffence_group: The PRC offence category for the reoffence.
number_reoffences: The number of reoffences in the reoffence group.
