Numbers of crime events as reported by victims, estimated by the Office for National Statistics using their Crime Survey England and Wales.

Format

A data frame with 1323 observations and 3 variables:

offence

Offence as given in csew official stats

number_offences

Number of offences in given year.

year_ending

The 12 months preceding for which the number offences is calculated. This maps to year and month, the date says the 01 of each month, but actually maps to the end of each month.
